A case of haemodialysis access induced distal ischaemia (HAIDI)

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a serious health problem worldwide and its burden on health care is increasing progressively. As the kidney function deteriorates and end-stage renal disease (ESRD) approaches, the patients require renal replacement therapy (RRT). Haemodialysis is the most preferred option for RRT. This requires repeated access to circulation for frequent maintenance haemodialysis (MHD). Arteriovenous fistula (AVF) is the preferred vascular access for MHD owing to its durability and low complication rate. Such access can result in complications.

Clinical studies on general anaesthesia using tiletamine-zolazepam combination as anaesthetic induction for diagnostic mri in dogs

An anaesthetic protocol was evaluated in 6 dogs (2 Female, 4 Male) of different breeds presented for different conditions requiring diagnostic MRI. The anaesthetic efficacy as well as physiological and haemato-biochemical alterations following tiletamine-zolazepam (TZ) combination as induction agent with xylazine premedication were assessed to assure an appropriate depth and length of anaesthesia, a regular breathing pattern, and a stable haemodynamic condition without the usage of expensive equipment for anaesthetic maintenance.

Measurement of hydroxychloroquine (hcq) in blood in asymptomatic healthcare workers on prophylactic regimen for covid-19 infection - an observational study
