A study of rt-pcr negative covid-19 cases in a tertiary rural health care centre

Introduction: Reports say that many “suspected” cases with archetypal clinical characteristics of COVID-19 and characteristic computed tomography (CT) images went undetected by RT-PCR due to late testing, escape variants and lack of sputum samples through BAL . This study directs to assess the clinical features, laboratory tests, radiological results, complications, and management of these patients who are COVID cases clinically but were RT-PCR negative.

Dermatological reaction after blood transfusion

Blood is an expensive and precious resource. Non-hemolytic transfusion reactions are the most common type of transfusion reactions, circulatory overload related to blood transfusion, allergic reactions. The goal of hemovigilance is to increase the safety and quality of blood transfusion. It is necessary to recognize and prompt response to adverse transfusion reactions. Evidence-based medicine has changed today’s scenario of clinical practice to decrease adverse transfusion reactions with prevalence and incidence rate also discussed.

Facial index of haryanvi adults and sexual dimorphism

Aim: The present study was conducted among Haryana descent individuals to gauge whether there is sexual dimorphism in its population on basis of facial index.
Settings & Design: The study was conducted in a tertiary health care centre and was cross-sectional.
Methods & Materials: Two hundred healthy volunteers were taken and their morphological facial length and facial breadth was measured. Facial index was then calculated.
Statistical analysis: SPSS version 20.0 was used to calculate p-value. The p-value <0.05 was considered significant.

A review on in situ gel

The current review on in situ gel was to complete the recent literature with special focus on in situ gelling system to increase the residence time of drug at the target site. This study has been sparked by the advantages shown by in situ forming polymeric delivery system such as ease of administration and reduced frequency of administration. The in situ gel forming polymeric formulations offer several advantages like sustained and prolonged action in comparison to conventional drug delivery system.

Determinations of the etiology of diseases involving aeromonad infections has been complicated by the genetic, biochemical, and antigenic heterogeneity of members of this group. Consequently, motile aeromonads consist of a complex of disease organisms that are associated with bacterial hemorrhagic septicemias in fishes.
