Objective: In order to ascertain the prevalence and severity of dental caries among schoolchildren aged 3 to 15 years, as well as the impact of age, socioeconomic status, oral hygiene practises, diet, and attitude towards dental knowledge on the occurence and severity of caries in children with various dentitions, this study was carried out in Mathura city for the first time.

“Riding pontics”: a tool behind a assured smile: a case report

All patients expect a beautiful smile at the completion of orthodontic treatment, but some patients show concern regarding their appearance while undergoing treatment. The appearance of a gap from a missing tooth can be a concern, especially if it is in the display zone of a patient's smile. If the treatment plan includes prosthetic replacement of the missing tooth rather then space closure, then space maintenance is also an issue. In an appearance conscious patient use of riding pontic as space maintainers is a good option during treatment.1

Odontogenic fibroma of maxilla- a case report

Odontogenic fibroma is an extremely rare benign tumour that accounts for 0.1 % of all odontogenic tumours. It appears as an asymptomatic expansion of the cortical plate of the Mandible or Maxilla. Radiologically it presents as a Unilocular or Multilocular radiolucency. It responds well to surgical enucleation with no tendency for recurrence. Here we describe a case of Odontogenic fibroma in Maxillary right anterior region in a 17-year-old female. The lesion was surgically removed and analyzed histopathologically.
