Synthesis and antimicrobial activity of some novel phenylazetidin-2-one containing imidazole benzo [d] thiazols

Some novel pencillin derivatives of substituted Phenylazetidin-2-one containing Imidazole Benzo[d]thiazols which are the most pharmacological important nitrogen containing heterocycles. The synthetic method of novel azetidin-2-one derivatives were obtained by the reaction of 1H-imidazole-4-carbaldehyde, substituted aniline and monochloro acetyl chloride via 2-aminobenzenethiol with Schiff base intermediate.
