Acute pancreatitis and pregnancy: retrospective study of 10 cases

In this retrospective study we report the case of 10 pregnant women who presented with acutepancreatitis during their pregnancy. Through this work, we report the experience of the visceral surgery department at the ARRAZI hospital in the management of acute pancreatitis during pregnancy, in order to specify the epidemiological characteristics of this association, to determinate the diagnostic criteria (positive diagnosis, serious diagnosis, etiological diagnosis), describe the methods of therapeutic management carried out in our training, and finally evaluate the maternal and fetal prognosis.
